@QueenB Like the most recent All Stars, this latest Candy Cup is not in my game. At least this time the relevant candy color changed over to the new design (green trophies). However, I suspect I won't get the event regardless.
I don't mind; I think I'll take another break from new levels again. I'm more irked by what I didn't get this morning:
Clicking Claim didn't give me my 500 gold bars. >.< Will a Kingster be adding them to my game? User ID's in my sig.
Also, what is up with Candy Royale:
45/8?? Never mind that Candy Royale seems broken these days and disappears more often than not…
@Deryck I also didn't get all stars on my PC version and of course I don't have the candy cup either. It's interesting that on my second game on my tablet I get all events. I played all stars on that tablet and this morning I have the candy cup on the tablet. I'm pretty sure windows will probably never have the same events as the mobile or tablet version. It's sad because I enjoy playing the most on my pc.
@cookiemae I pondered this for a bit, and I don't think device is at the root of it. a) I play on mobile, where one would expect the event to appear, yet it doesn't. b) Past versions of both All Stars and Candy Cup reached me just fine—and that was back when I only played on the Win 10 app as I didn't have a smartphone then.
I think maybe we've been recently "blacklisted" of sorts. Sure, King says players are randomly assigned events, but with the raised stakes of both recent events, I think King's just trying to keep the real goods out of our reach. I see you at L17,000 in my Friends list; you're too good. 😝
