I won my qualifier and was expecting the next round to start this morning (8am GMT) but there is no sign of it in my events.
I’ve played a heap of levels in the hope it would appear but still no sign.
What’s going on?

Sometimes if you change the date or time on your device back and forth for whatever reason then that may make live events disappear from your game. But it could be a glitch, the same problem was reported quite frequently during All Stars. Did you have the countdown timer on your screen yesterday? Mine has been there for a few days. In my experience, if the event does not show up after playing a few levels on an otherwise good connection to wifi and the app store (i.e. you can make purchases and the episode race is functioning with no problem), then it won't come back.

I didn’t have a countdown but have had frequent reminders that I made it to the next stage.
I’ve had a leaderboard screen appear with only my name on it and a countdown at 0 a few times this morning.
What a waste of time and effort that was then :(

@crushdemcandies Got a popup message in game this morning saying 2nd Chance rounds will begin on July 9th; play Cup Collection event in the meantime to warm up.
If that's the case, I presume your next round won't begin till after the 2nd Chancers have their go considering you already qualified.
Edit: Never mind, just saw Johan's post above. Didn't know Knockout rounds already began. I don't have Candy Cup in my game at all, see.

I am playing candy cup. I have completed top 3 in knockout 1 round. Do I go on the the final or do I have to play knockout 2 round? Thanks

Hello @annabyrne100 of course you will have to compete in the 2nd knockout round like the rest of us! That is the way King manage to reduce a field of many millions to 10,000 groups for the final round. There will be groups of 40 players in the 2nd knockouts, again with the top 3 players qualifying for the finals. The "final chance" rounds you don't compete in, they are just for players who failed or joined the game recently.
