Why won’t my audiobook work while playing Candy Crush?

I’ve always been able to listen to an audiobook or podcast while playing Candy Crush. Now, when I open the Candy Crush app, my audiobook or podcast shuts off. I restarted my phone, made sure the audio settings on the CC app are all set to silent, and checked for an app update. The problem persists. I won’t be playing the game much if this isn’t fixed.

I am sorry to hear about the issue with the podcast while playing the game!

You are not alone as we have received multiple complaints about this particular issue! The issue was reported to the Candy game team last week and they are investigating this issue.

Our Community In-charge has informed this morning for the players to update the game as well as the device to latest versions and wait to receive the good news from the game team.
