Hello @chblanto1 and welcome to the community! Yes you are right, these legendary levels can be "a joke" though not a funny one! Are you still stuck on it? There are legendary levels that hold you up no matter what you do, dotted about the game. I find that the best way to approach them is this:
If you are on a good win streak play starting boosters on your first attempt. Some levels are fixed so that if you have enough or the right boosters on the starting board the game will allow you to pass. Sometimes the same applies to the second try. After that, if you don't have timed boosters, don't waste any more boosters because if you don't pass a legendary level on your first or second attempt then you will not get a lucky board (as shown in the video) for many tries.
Keep playing without boosters and play the first move the game suggests to you. If you see colour bombs dropping and chances to create special candies and combos of special candies, especially if you get the chance to make a colour bomb/wrap or colour bomb/stripe combo, then this may be your lucky board. Lucky boards like this are written into the game, so if you don't get one there is nothing you can do (ridiculous indeed) until one shows up. So watch out for your lucky board and take advantage of the chances it gives you.
Once you get to an easier episode, try to earn gold by winning the episode race, which you will if you play the entire episode within 24 hours (ignore the opposition, they are not real). Then keep that gold safe for the next time you hit a legendary blocker level like level 675 and use your 10 gold only when the game offers you enough moves so you can definitely pass with 10 gold. Candy Crush is designed to be played this way, so if you go with it you will enjoy playing rather than get frustrated.
The game actually gets easier after level 800, so you might be able to play this strategy once you get past these horrible episodes. Good luck!
