candy crush says it can not connect to internet. I was using cellular data on my iPad so I tried Wi-Fi and that didn’t work. I uninstalled it and redownloaded it and still says no internet connection. I clearly have internet because I’m sending this to you now. Please help

I am sorry to hear about the issue in your game! If you have reinstalled your game and still experiencing the issue, there is definitely something wrong with the App!!
When you have reinstalled the game, did you clear Data/history, etc.,? On Android devices, we have the option to clear cache, etc.,! But, I am not sure how to do that on iPad though!!
I would suggest you to contact the King Player Support team. Give me few minutes and I will get back to you with the steps you can use!
