It is not just you! I have been seeing more complaints about not receiving lives!
The game Studio did not detect any issue in their system! If they cannot see the glitch, they cannot fix it! So, all I can suggest you is make as many friends as you can and try to ask for lives. That's what I am doing in my game too!
And, if you are playing on Facebook browser, see if you can play the App version on your laptop or use a mobile device. In my experience, lives are reaching the App version than the Facebook browser.
Also, if you already have 200 lives stored in your envelope, you will not receive any new lives!
