None for me for the last three days, I've also noticed that the challenges of other players which would give you a hand switch, a lollipop and then a saucer are also gone.

Mine has also been missing for three days. Not happy with the removal of the chance to get these boosters.

For the last 2 days when I play my game on FB account, my maching does not come up for me to upgrade it. I have always been upgraded and never had a problem until I download the app on my ipad and merged my accounts together. They are never in sink. Yesterday when using the app on my ipad, it showed that my maching was down to 35% and for me to click to upgrade. What is going on? Do I have to unmerge my FB game from my download app in order to get my gmae play correct?

When you say "the machine" what exactly do you mean?
On the events screen you can see all events that are available! There are not all the events available all the time! Some events do not appear now but they can appear later or tomorrow, maybe after some days more!
