Speed up level?

Anyone else doesn't have the button to speed up the game all of a sudden? Were you able to get it back? It was a pink circle with 1 or 2 arrows at the bottom right of the screen… just contacted costumer service regarding this issue.

yes mine has disappeared too and the game is so slow I cba to play it now.

As far as I can gather it has disappeared completely from everyone's game for the time being.

Ya it is gone. You will get used to the slower speed again. It is very jarring at first but it is not too bad. It is fun watching all the algorithm nonsense… oh so a 4 candy straight line can make wrapped candies as well now? Neat!

I wish they put it back, I don't remember the game being so slow ever, it's boring to play it without the 2x speed

It is mostly your imagination but…
- The game does seem to have some extra slowdown at first. I am not sure why but it goes away after a hour or so BUT…
- That slowdown always happens and it gets worse on more complicated levels. The thing is you really do not notice it since you were playing with all of that X levels. Now you get the speed boost and everything is faster, and the slowdowns are much more minor relative to faster speed. So when you go back to the slow speed and get the odd additional slowdown it is extra awful.
- You can't compare it to level 1 and such as the game speed is faster there as those are very simple levels.
Likely in a day or two the slow speed will feel more natural.
Also I am on the PC app, if you are on mobile it might feel worse as I noticed the slowdowns on mobile were more dramatic than on PC. Not by a lot but it doesn't take much.
