Anyone else doesn't have the button to speed up the game all of a sudden? Were you able to get it back? It was a pink circle with 1 or 2 arrows at the bottom right of the screen… just contacted costumer service regarding this issue.

Likely in a day or two the slow speed will feel more natural.
Also I am on the PC app, if you are on mobile it might feel worse as I noticed the slowdowns on mobile were more dramatic than on PC. Not by a lot but it doesn't take much.
I wish they put it back, I don't remember the game being so slow ever, it's boring to play it without the 2x speed
Ya it is gone. You will get used to the slower speed again. It is very jarring at first but it is not too bad. It is fun watching all the algorithm nonsense… oh so a 4 candy straight line can make wrapped candies as well now? Neat!
As far as I can gather it has disappeared completely from everyone's game for the time being.
