If you see this troll, stop playing new levels immediately !
Scroll back to your favourite go-to level for orange candies that you can easily pass. Play and replay that one until you get the 2500 orange candies! It took me just 12 minutes to get all the prizes, including a party popper! So don't risk losing this by playing new levels. Old levels work fine!
My poor fingers, that was a lot of scrolling, but worth it!

Yes, unfortunately that is the way King handle events. Different test groups of players get different rewards. I hope you get the party popper though?

I just tried level 1000. Won the level but no rewards....the troll ate the first cake....didn't work for me...I will try again.

You have to play it over and over. Just press "replay" every time you finish the level. It gives you about 400-500 orange candies and you need 2500. So you need to play it about five times.

Yes....I was able to reach the mark of 2500. However my rewards was a lollipop hammer, 30 min of life and a powerball. No party booster. Do not know why???. Was wondering if it would let me do it again?

You must have let too much time elapse. The event starts the moment you see it pop up on the screen I think. So if you wait to play it some of the time elapses and then the troll eats the best layer of the cake and all you get is the lesser boosters. The moment the countdown clock starts you need to drop whatever you are doing (well not everything, don't drop your crying baby….) and collect orange candies. The event gives me 45 minutes and that should be enough if you choose a good easy level with lots of orange such as level 1000. In fact I even managed it with new levels recently as well. I got the event twice this weekend, on Friday and again on Saturday. Make sure you close the app and reopen, and if you are lucky it will make another appearance for you.

Okay. That makes sense. I am on level 11890 an have no boosters makes it very hard to win a level. I don't even win a maybe 2 then lose at the CRoyal. And also I haven't seen it pop up on my screen unless I missed it. Its a good thing off an on I look at discussion questions that how I found out. Also when you say to close app an reopen it, how do I do that without losing all levels!. Thanks for helping.

The way you restart an app depends on the device you're using, but you can simply restart the device. Or you can try replaying an old level to see if the event pops up. It usually works for me.
