I have been stuck on level 5087 for a while now. At first when I got on the level it just had regular jelly, now all of a sudden it changed to the frozen jelly. Why did it change?
I finally just now beat the level!! I had extra power ups and a switch and lollipop. You have to mix a bunch of the power ups to beat it. I beat it on my last move left

I have tried this level and had to give up as well. I cannot get anywhere near close. Even with 7 frostings left you don't have more than one lucky candy on the board at the end, so even a party popper or UFO would not help pass this level at this stage. I am surprised that there have not been more complaints about this level and wonder if other players get a different version.
@QueenB or @PummyRaj please could someone look into this new version of level 5087? We get fewer moves than any of the videos on YouTube and our order is for frostings, created only from lucky candy which drop, whereas in all the videos and the advice online the order is for chocolate. In fact the advice for this level is that it can only be passed by allowing the chocolate to grow. So by replacing chocolate with frosting the design team have made this level impossible to pass in the moves given, because frosting does not grow and the lucky candies do not drop fast enough to fulfil the order in 18 moves. I doubt it would be possible even with 23 or 24 moves.

Are you also stuck on level 5087 @a_Draaish ? May I ask how many times roughly you have played it and how close did you get to passing this level?

Thank you. Like I said it was different when I first started the level and then must have updated to the new one. I too have looked on you tube to see if I could find a way to beat it but even the ones on YouTube are different too.
I am rather concerned about this level @PummyRaj . Yes, I have the same board as you @sweettxgirl and it is idifferent from any of the YouTube videos. It must be that King have just rewritten this level and I am concerned they may have made it too hard if not impossible to pass. It isn't the extra layer of ice that is causing me problems passing it, as the game will give me plenty of opportunities to create colour bombs and combos of special candies to clear the board, but with 18 moves I really don't think the lucky candies drop fast enough to fulfil the order for the frosting. According to the videos the order used to be for chocolate and it has been changed to frosting for some reason. The lucky candy only turns into a single layer frosting, and too slowly to fulfil the order in 18 moves. I tried a few times and got nowhere near. So at the moment I hove no tips for passing this level and I wonder if they tested this out properly. I will take another look tomorrow.
The frozen jelly is what I call it, you have to hit several times to clear the jelly, it has the cracked ice apperance, instead of it being just twice to clear it like the regular is a dark white at first you hit it once and it becomes clear.
