👫 Help a Friend Feature: Explained!

Hello everyone!

We’ve noticed some confusion around the "Help a Friend" feature, and we’re here to clarify everything for you. Let’s break it down so everyone can enjoy this helpful feature to the fullest.

How to Play!

Helping Friends Stuck on Levels:
- You can help your friends who are stuck on a level by playing and winning that specific level. Note: Winning the level will not pass it for your friend but will provide them with boosters.
No Cost to Play:
- Playing the level to help a friend will not cost you any lives. You have 5 attempts to assist your friend without any impact on your own gameplay, (we are currently testing different versions of attempts so you might get 3 attempts only)!
Boosters as Rewards:
- If you successfully win the level, your friend will receive 4 boosters as a reward. 🎁
Navigating to Help:
- Players with this feature can go to their Friends tab to see which friends need help. Tap the "Help" button next to your friend's name to assist them.
Requesting Help:
- Important: You cannot request help from other players to pass a level. The "Help a Friend" feature allows you to assist others, but it doesn't enable requesting help within the game or community.

Here's a visual guide to help you navigate the feature:

Friends Tab: Go to your profile and switch to the "Friends" tab to see which friends need help.
Help Button: Tap the "Help" button next to a friend's name who is stuck on a level.
Play and Win: Play the level and if you win, your friend receives boosters!

You can't ask for help. The game will decide to ask for help for you if you fail the level too many times. The only way you will know that help was requested is if you get a pop-up when you play the level giving you some boosters and letting you know which friend helped. You still need to beat the level on your own. If you post which level you are stuck on, there are many helpful people in the forum who can give you advice on how to pass the level.

I am sick of this feature, which is confusing a lot of players. Also Kiara's responses are not helping at all since they don't answer the question of if and how players can request help using this feature in the game. Please could we have an official thread that explains the Help a Friend feature properly @QueenB All of us are spending a lot of time here explaining to players that they can't request help to pass a level either here in the community nor in their games.

Hello @QueenB either there are different versions of this feature, or your information is out of date.

I used to get five attempts to help a friend, but now I only get three.

Does the friend only get the boosters for 1 attempt? or is it permanent untill they beat it?

Because I noticed i get the option to help the same friend on the same level again even though i already beat it. @QueenB

Hi Oichi,

They will only get the rewards after winning the level their friend is stuck on!

As for playing the level that you have beaten before, I will pass on the feedback as there might be an issue with the friends list not getting refreshed 🤔 I'll report it 😉

This happens @Oichi because you completing a level just means that the person you helped receives some boosters the next time they play that level. They still have to beat that level themselves using the boosters that you have 'sent' them.
