I must have been lucky! I passed that level on my first attempt yesterday. I'm not sure what I did, because I've just tried it out again now, and it does glitch. I'll see if there is a way to avoid the glitch.

I am having the same problem and it is a real pain because I lost my streak , my friends challenge and 3 lives trying to get through it . Even when I completed it by waiting out the glitch every time I made a move , I pushed the “ skip this “ message at the end but the level never closed . I powered my phone off and hoped it would allow me to move on. It didn’t so now I’m back at square one. I really don’t want to go through all that again for nothing . I am playing on my iPhone and took a screenshot but I think it’s time to remove this level . Obviously it has been happening to many people for 2 weeks . I can’t play until this is resolved and I don’t recommend anyone else to waste their time .

I've replayed this level a few times on my iPhone6 and have found that repeatedly and quickly pressing the home button stopped the glitching and allows the candies to drop into place after a pause. It might be worth a try. Thanks to @Scooterpie who reported the same method using a mouse. This works for me on iOS as well. Hope this helps others to move on past this level while King sort out a fix!
If you find that the glitch comes after you saved the dragons like you can see on my screenshot below, then hit the home button repeatedly until the glitch stops BEFORE you press "tap to skip" and it should then allow you to advance to the next level. I have found that if I press "tap to skip" while the game is glitching like on my screenshot below then it will freeze, but if I keep hitting the home button the sequence will continue and the candies will drop and THEN I can move on to the next level.

Hello @PummyRaj This glitch happens all the time and can hardly be avoided in this level. I would suggest King attend to this urgently. I posted a way around it here, but I really cannot see any other way to bypass this level than repeatedly pressing the home button on my iPhone!

Thank you Christine, you’re a lifesaver!
Inhad managed to pass it a couple of times last night but then the endless cascade started and I made the mistake of pressing the Skip button which froze the screen. Just tried your Home button tip and it worked first time and I can move on.3 -
