Why did it say that this level was over when there were merges about to happen?

you can see in photo that the blue candies would have merged but for some reason this stopped. I think that’s why the levels have been extra hard there’s a glitch. Please help.

Hello @Lisai222 Welcome to the community! In fact there is no glitch here. The end of level cascades have been largely removed from the game in recent months. The game ends when you have either made a winning or a failing move. Once the game senses that a player has failed the cascade that follows will not be played out fully. The game is a computer algorithm and it "knows" that you failed the level and there is no need to play out the entire cascade. You were 15 frostings short and matching those four blue candies would not have affected the outcome.

Sadly the reason the game has become so extra hard lately is because King have decided to make it extra hard for us! They want players to spend gold bars and money to buy extra moves at the end of the levels. There are more and more levels where the game deliberately leaves us a few moves short. This is part of the game design now.
