No more ads for moves or boosters?

Last week I booked down and paid for a set of gold bars. Suddenly I'm not getting any opportunities to watch ads for more moves at the end of a game or boosters at the beginning. Is this temporary? Because it will take me forever to get through levels without boosters or extra lives and I'm not going to pay any more actual money anytime soon.
