is there a trick to completing level 149 without any boosts, I can’t seem to figure it out, Thanks

The only trick I can think of is to play the correct first move, which is to match the yellows in the top row, as shown in the video. That way the yellow candies in the two top corners will take out one layer of the outer columns, and hit the other yellow striped candies to help open the board up.
I have played this level many times over the years and a lucky board will make it easy to pass. However King fix the levels and change the frequency of lucky boards that drop the right candies needed to pass levels, so sometimes what used to be an easy level has become hard. Make the correct first move and then watch out for any chances to make wrapped or striped candies or colour bombs. If you do then try if possible to make combos of special candies. Watch out for a lucky break like seen in this video. Be patient and don't waste your gold bars or boosters this early on in the game. You will need those for levels 205-260 when legendary levels are added to the game.
