Impossible to pass level 2110

Level 2110 has two possible opening move choices, and it is important that you play the correct one. You probably have figured this out now but to illustrate on my screenshot below, you need to make the red match.
This will also match the green candies but more importantly allow the purple match so the striped candy can hit the blockers at the top and open up the board. If you make the green match the candies fall differently and you get stuck.
