The Ads is still in testing mode and all the test features are sent to few groups of players at a time for certain period of time. Once that period is over, the features will be moved to other groups of players.
That is what happened sometime last week too! The testing groups were shuffled and the players that used to receive the Ads are not receiving Ads because of that!
But, it is just temporary! The Ads will be back soon! All you need to do is to make sure that the game App is updated to the latest version; there is at least 2GB free space on your device memory, and you stay active in the game.
