I can't get lives from my friends

Are you playing Candy Crush Saga? If so, which device are you using to play the game?
Do you have enough "active" friends in the game to send you lives? In my game, many players have stopped playing the game and I am not receiving lives from the players that used to!!
If you have active friends but still not receiving lives from them, see if you contact any of them and check if they too are having issues with receiving lives from you.
Other than that, only thing you can check is, whether the game App is updated to the latest version or not (if you are using a mobile device)!
