Level 1003 glitches

My level 1003 glitches this morning. It has happened twice now. The striped candies in the bottom row whizz indefinitely and I need to close the game and reopen. While I am trying to work out a way around this please could this be reported. It might be related to the Monday morning update of the game as I have not heard this happen to anyone else for this level. I note that this level is different on my iPad, where I have the glitch!

Trying the same level on my iPhone I only have one striped candy dispenser on the bottom row and hence no such glitch.

Really????

I have just updated the game but it has made no difference.

Update to my post: The glitch disappeared when I reopened the game a second time after updating. Maybe something got fixed in the update. Or maybe the game was waiting for my free timed boosters from the weekly race win to have run out. Whatever the reason, I've now played it three times and the bottom row is not glitching.
