Level 1162 - blatant fraud?

Can other players post their experience with this level?

Just played it on a "new" game, and the last dragon refused to drop even though I had plenty moves remaining.

It only appeared after I purchased the extra moves to continue the level, the very next move in fact.

That's outrageous @Deryck ! Fraud indeed. And it's one of the regular King tricks to make you spend. I've come across it many times, unfortunately, all over the game. To see if it happened to me now I've been replaying that level, but the second dragon fell like it was supposed to. You never know playing CC how it will treat you. As it should, unfair or flat out fraudulent.

Appreciate that, @Storm15. Oddly, I replayed L1162 after hearing your experience with it, and it's not the same level I recall where it happened. 😕 That is, I agree this level gave me no issue passing now. Either King is shifting levels around at whim, or I misremembered which level it occurred.

I just used up my lives Xing out of dragon boards on that episode, so I'll check later if it was the previous episode where it happened. It could be I didn't decide to make a post about it until some time passed. In any case, if players encounter the level I'm talking about in the 1140-1170 range, let us know so we can report it.

I'm starting to think this is King shifting levels around at whim. I could swear I passed the current 1162 I replayed (the one I presume you played @Storm15) in the previous episode and that I played something else for 1162.

What leads me to this conclusion is there are currently two versions of 992. Old version in my main game, same on mobile & PC (this is mobile):

New version in my new alt game (PC):

It's bad enough King's doing their A/B testing on events; I'd bet the testing extends to levels too. 😒

Hi @Deryck Oh yes, levels are changed! You can see that clearly in YouTube video's. Many levels have different versions, because King keeps changing them at will. If someone asks something about a level, you can never be sure if he or she is dealing with the same version you have played. That's why people posting YouTube video's of levels they have been playing mention, for example, 'version 2024'. Don't know about King's A/B testing trick in this matter but it could be. It could be.😏.

Right, @Storm15. But the distinction I was pointing out above is 2 different versions of the same level existing at the same time (now). With the YouTube vids, I'm aware it's normal to see players posting a level version from now that's different from a level version of the past.

Ah! Now I'm getting it. Maybe still a bit hazy here, after getting up…Anyway. Shifting levels at the same time in the case of longtime players that started again… or maybe are playng old levels to pile up boosters… I consider King doing anything for the money, but this really would be going far. 😠 It would be criminal. Don't know a better word.

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
