You are experiencing the "Grey screen" glitch!!
Do you have access to a mobile phone to play the game? I don't think you will be able to play on it either! But, you can try and see!
Unfortunately, none of the troubleshooting steps will help you to resolve the issue😢 But, this glitch will resolve by itself within a day or two (sometimes, it takes a week)!! If it is possible, I would request you to send a complaint to the King Player Support team as they can record your complaint.
