Found a screenshot of a group that was on pace for the 9.6 million mark, likely finished mid 8 millions though. So far only 5 images of groups, once I have more I'll post them. I should be allowed to so long as I don't say anything defamatory about them.
Ha, I did so much digging that I found Ben Chin's All-Star reddit post. Nice guy, solid 4.9 million in 24 hour score, 204k/hr.
Anywho.... Players usually decreased 10-25% minimum in scoring the final 18 hours (this tourney was 42 vs 24 hours).... But he's the champ so I'm only saying 12%, 180k/hr down the stretch, so 18x180k + his first 4.9 million..... 8.14 million....
Meaning the winner of the allstars 2024 Ben Chin would've optimistically gotten around 8.14 million in the Music Season Tournament had he played. Purely a hypothetical group, but a good idea of a cap score. Thoughts?
Thanks for sharing all this info. There are a couple of reasons it's not easy to compare the two events. All Stars final lasted exactly 24 hours, so it was possible (and likely necessary) to play the entire time without sleeping or taking more than a toilet break. Also All Stars is purple candies and there are generally more good levels that yield green, orange and blue candies than there are for purple. King did away with just about every good cascading level for purple candies, but there are plenty of good ones for the other three colours, so you can probably score a lot more on a single level. Level 1000 was changed to different colours during All Stars, so they took out purples. Then they put the colours back to the original after the event.
Yeah I tried to give Ben a lower final 18 hour average score since the allstars was only 24. I'm not thinking there's a massive orange/purple candy difference if you play the variety of levels, he never farmed. Verissa averaged the exact same hourly both tourneys.... Like the exact same 183.3k/HR (4.4 and 7.7 million). I think the super color bomb being available the 1st half of the final for some people was a big deal, but yes there maybe are more orange, but not enough to make a massive scoring difference. If anything I should probably leave Ben at his 204k/hr average the entire time since even though there would be the fatigue factor, the super color bomb early on and the slightly more orange that you say would counteract that, verissa was also able to manage the same rate this tourney the whole time. So 8.57 million. Again this is hypothetical.
