I got to the finals in both my games. The one at the end of the map I got there by playing all three new episodes that came out on Wednesday, which I left for yesterday to play. So I started the round when there were only 9 hours left on the clock, otherwise I would have run out of levels.
The regular game I got so close just by playing for the fun of it, I saw I was within reach, so I played a second episode this morning when there were 50 minutes left and I noted that Felix in third place has stopped playing. It's of benefit to live in Europe here. We wake up just at the right time to play full out for the last hour.
Nice, yeah I got 1st with around 900k or so 2nd round. Realized I shouldn't probably post screenshots of my profile just yet until music vetting is done. I think they should have offered more tourney gold prizes this time, give people a little more incentive....but they probably don't want to bother with booting people or complaints.
By the way Christine....I know you've said before that winners of allstars with scores of over 6 million were booted. Did you have any proof of that or was it just an assumption? I agree with that being too high a score in 24 hours without the exploit.... But I've yet to see one post from an obvious illigimate scorer winning final 3/3 and griping after a boot, or any runnerup saying they were contacted, in any type of forum. Have seen several threads from runnerups to really high 6 mill+ type scores say they were never contacted. Seems like at all costs nobody will ever want to confirm a rulebreaker made it all the way. Then people might complain more about losing in previous rounds to them, who knows. But I think it would be nice for once to see the vetting proven serving justice.
I did not make it in this round. As I had lost my episode race (I have it back now) I did not want to waste my gold to get through levels.
This one is an interesting finals group.
I had got into the lead last night and everyone just caught up after that and then stopped playing. It looks like they are all sitting back waiting for the sprint now.
Twenty hours previously:
Shall I play or shall I sit back and wait for the sprint finish? It would be a nice test of just how useful the Star Tournament is for winning events like this.
My leaderboard definitely was screwy today. I'm up a few hundred thousand on 2nd, but I'll let him win if he pushes for it, I'm done for the night. Took it easy, finished 1.25 million
Oh and Christine Why did you never tell me about John p from the tourney astars a ways back. Had I known his outcome for using that same move the cherry/dragon method in order to unlimited farm, I likely wouldn't of said half my comments lol. Apparently Candy Crush knows all about it. I feel so very silly and embarrassed.....really wish that guy wouldn't of ever been in my bracket, since then I wouldn't of talked so dang much lol. Thought they didn't know about it....so silly
Sorry but to me the method you mentioned seemed different from John's. John was using the Star Tournament, hiding the dragon and then I think bashing the board with lollipop hammers or party poppers for an hour or longer. The method you described sounded to me more legitimate with deliberately failing and replaying new levels until the game gave us +255 moves. To be honest, that is how King have designed the game, with that stupidity of giving us +255 moves when we only need two or three. A lot of us deliberately fail levels so that we can play on using just 10 gold. I played level 330 just yesterday to the point it offered me +225 moves to test how long it would be until the game let me pass, and then when I was on my last life I paid 10 gold for +225 moves, but only used two of them. That is the way the game is manipulated and written by King, so personally I think that this method is legitimate. It uses the mechanism that King have deliberately written into the game. If they don't want players to use that method then they should get rid of this stupid coercion method to get us to pay to play on.
Here is my final leaderboard. I got nowhere near the top as I was only playing two episodes per day max, which would never have been enough. Looks like those two really battled it out between them. Tough on Andrea.
The other one I got closer, playing in the Star Tournament, but didn't bother playing this morning as I had more important things to do. This is the board:
Exactly the same thing happened to me the game has hung up on me alot this week. Today I think it was around 10 times. Wich cost me a screenshot of how many Levels i won this week.
Here's mine.
