Today I had a candy that was flickering as if radiating heat waves. That flickering stayed at the exact same spot, only changed the kind of candy, accordingly to how I played. What does it mean? Please help! Thank you
I'm also occasionally seeing the smoky spot. I've also lost Episode Race for the last two episodes, which I'm bummed about.. I'm in the 5200s. I did an update just now so hopefully that helps.

Same here. Flickering candy spot. Mine seem to stay in the same spot vs. moving or falling with the candy.
I've seen these a few times too. The 'smokey' or 'electric' parts doesn't follow the candy, it stays in the same spot no matter what other candies are combined. I haven't figured out anything beyond that though and nothing seems to happen in/around them. In my screenshot, it's the very bottom row, 6th candy (blue). I have no clue.

What is the electric / shimmering ball supposed to do?
I've had it too! There have been up to 4 on my game and most time it will move down or over 1 space.

The “smoking” candies sound interesting! Could it be similar to the flickering candy effect some players are seeing, which looks like a candy radiating heat waves? If so, you might find more details in this thread: New Flickering Thing in the Game.

What do the smoking candies mean ?
The little Alien that swings from the top is part of the Alien/Critter catch. If you tap on it while you see it it gets added to your event and if you catch enough of them you get a prize. However in my game that event has just finished this morning.
It always stays in the same place and sometimes 2 appear next to each other. Also, why does the little alien swinf=g from the top every now and then

Im having it too for a few days. It's on my phone ap game and the one through Facebook on my computer
I've had it too. It doesn't do anything but flicker. It's not on every level only a few. I didn't take a screenshot of it. I had it happen two or three days in a row. I'm not 100% sure but I don't recall seeing it when I started playing. I think it showed up after a blocker was cleared. I've already played a lot of CCS today and I don't know if I'll be playing anymore. If I see it again I'll let you know. Sorry I wasn't much help.🫤

I now get it in almost every level I play. No special wrap candy. It's annoying. Just played a level and it popped up in four places.
I've seen it too. I had the special wrap enabled but if it's not on the board a random candy seems to flicker electrically, so I guess this is some kind of graphics glitch.

We believe this is a bug and currently looking into it, question: did you all happen to have a super wrapped special candy on the game board?
Also, which game app version do you have installed?
App-Version (Android) is 1.289.1.1
No super wrapped special candy
It happened to me as well, iOS, App version 1.289.1.1. No super wrapped candies or super color bombs were active. In fact, it happened while playing an old level.
I’m on level 11275 and have the same thing on the board. I didn’t have anything special as far as boosters go when it showed up though.
@QueenB This isn't just a mobile bug. As you know, I'm currently not doing anything on my mobile game. But in completing my Chocolate Box today, it appeared on the Win app.
First time I saw it, it was just the one, same as everyone else.

Didn't King learn from the Chameleon Candy? Are they trying to cause more seizures?
Edit: Never had Super Wrapped at all on either game version, and though Super Color Bomb is in my events tab, it's not active since I'm currently not playing new levels.
Yes, I had this weird glowing candy in my game today gave me a headache. It does not seem to do anything, but it is very off putting. I play on Windows 10 Computer.
My game is stuck on this loading screen. I don't want to exit it and loae my 800+ game streak but can't do anything else. I turned on and off wifi and it stays the same. If I exit the game I'll lose.

i have played this game for more than 15 years and yes i have spent more money than i care to say. lately you cannot win a level at all without spending money. i think im done. at least let us win a couple levels
