The game is fixed and each board is pre determined to either allow players to pass if they make the right move choices or fail whatever move we make.

I recommend the following method for all legendary levels:

Use starting colour bomb and wrap/stripe if you have any on your first attempt and only on your first attempt. Do not waste boosters on subsequent attempts.

Make the first move the game recommends. Then make EVERY move you spot which will match 4 or 5 candies to make a colour bomb, a wrapped or a striped candy. If you can make a combo of special candies, such as colour bomb/striped or colour bomb/wrapped or wrap/stripe, make this combo. If the game creates a colour bomb for you it might be a sign the game is trying to help you, so check carefully if you can create a combo with a wrap or stripe with it. Eventually the game will help you pass, so watch out for a lucky board. If you get lots of chances to make special candies make sure you take full advantage.

Please note this will apply to all legendary levels to come, not just level 255. Those levels ending in the digit 5 can be particularly tough. You will pass when the game wants you to pass, but only if you take the chances it gives you.
