Level 1
Hello @Redstarline Welcome to the community. I hate to say this but I just managed to pass this level on my fifth attempt, after I had been given a timed starting colour bomb by the daily treat machine. I think if you have been on this level for weeks then probably you are missing the help the game is trying to give you to pass. When I get stuck on a legendary level I always start with the move the game suggests and I always make any match I can see which will create a wrapped or striped candy. Always, without fail. If the game allows you to make special candies then it's probably trying to help you. If you then get a chance to make a combo of special candies, even better. I got a chance to make a wrap/stripe combo twice. You do also need to use the frog for this level.
This is the starting board though this is not the one I passed on.
Make the first suggested move. If the game is going to be kind to you it will suggest the right move to bring you some luck.
I think the sequence must be to try to hit those sour skulls first of all. So if there is a chance to match candies next to them, take it. If there is not try to charge the frog and if you see a match of four candies make sure you take that chance.
These are a few screenshot of key moments.
Making the match with the blue stripe will hit both the yellow key and the frog. It's good to get both early on. When the key is gone we get colour bombs. So if you hit vertical striped candies underneath that place you will hit the colour bomb. It is the only way to hit the colour bomb, so that must be something the game requires us to do.
On the next screenshot I have two chances to make striped candies. Never miss these chances. It's always the best move.
At this point the skull is not accessible, so this match is clearly the best move. There are two choices but I go for the vertical stripe.
Which gives me this match. Again setting off the orange vertical stripes will be the best move here as it may charge the frog and also hit the colour bomb and some blocker below.
The result gives me yet another chance to make my own striped candy, with the purples:
At this point we need to get the final two keys. After I make the striped candy match I am again left with no way to hit either the skull or the keys. But I can make yet another striped candy! This time blue:
A few moves later I have managed to hit the skull once it moved round and got one of the keys. I may well have made some mistakes, but I am in luck again with the chance to hit a wrap /stripe combo.
I now have the difficult choice of either striking the combo or making yet another wrapped candy, with the blue candies. I did make the wrap and got a cascade which hit the last key and charged the frog.
I am not sure if the best place for the frog is onto the toffee swirls or into one of the empty spaces. I choose the toffee swirls on the left and next time I charge the frog I go for the empty space on the right.
Now I continue to create special candies. There are two possibilities to create a wrap/stripe combo here, with either the blue or the green match.
From here on I just hope that I will continue to get lucky and use any opportunity I see. Finally with just two moves left I manage to make this wrap/colour bomb combo:
I thought looking at this board that I would be left with one move/frosting short. But the game is kind. I hit the colour bomb onto a purple candy and somehow the game lets me win with a helpful cascade.
This was a lucky board. If you get such a chance, make sure you don't miss it.
Good luck!
