Hi and Welcome to the King Community
Thank you for the feedback. First, open Candy Crush Saga on your device. Then, tap on the 'Settings' icon, usually found in the lower-left corner of the screen. Next, choose 'Profile' and you'll see your current profile picture. Here, you can tap on the picture to change it.

You cannot change your avatar any more in Candy Crush, we are stuck with the one the game gave us. You can get rid of it by replacing it with a photograph though. Go into Settings and My Account and click on the camera icon. It ought to take you to King's website where you should be able to replace it with a photograph.
