Speed slower even on fastest speed setting

Why did the speed change?
Even on the fastest of the two speed settings the speed has gotten much slower recently.
What's up with that and is there any way to get the faster speed back?

I have seen others post about that in the past @Jumpery but I don't think there was a definite answer of what to do. Think some found it just corrected itself after a few days.
