why do you not play against people who are at or near your level? I am playing against people who are 10,000 levels BELOW me and blowing me away. Why bother?! Isn’t it easier for someone at level 200 to complete more levels than someone at 12,000? It doesn’t make sense to play against people who are so far away from your level.
Hi and Welcome to the King Community
Thank you for the feedback. This issues is being investigate for more Info Here
I have found in my game that the weekly contest places us now to play with others who are as strong as we are: If you played 50 levels the previous week then you will play against others who played 30-80 levels the previous week. If you played 300 levels the previous week then you will play against others who also played hundreds of levels. This seems much fairer to me than playing against others who are at the same level.
I have played all level ranges of Candy Crush recently I can assure you that they are all pretty much the same difficulty now! A lot of players think the early levels are easier to play through because they remember that is how it used to be when they played them. But the game has changed beyond recognition and all level ranges now are pretty much comparable. The only ranges that are destinctly harder than others are the last 2000 levels of the game. That would now be levels 16,000 upwards. And even at those levels I have seen player cards of players who have passed more than 200 levels and keep crushing them. It really isn't about which level range you play any more at all.
I still find it hard to believe that someone at Level 400 has the same level of difficulty completing levels as someone at 14,000. In most all games it makes sense that as you move up the levels get more difficult with more obstacles and less moves. But I guess it is what it is
It's easy to check: Scroll back and play the episodes from level 200 to 500. That's the best way to judge if those episodes are really easier to get through.
I did as you suggested. I played Level 200, as this week I am up against someone who just started playing 7 days ago and is at Level 180 right now (and currently leading the weekly challenge with over 100 levels won) and breezed through that level. No comparison to anything I have played in the last year! I then played Level 400. More difficult, but doable. I will agree, (from what I vaguely remember all those years ago) that the level is harder than it was back then, but comparable to Level 15000? I just don’t understand, especially this week why I am up against someone who just started playing candy crush and is literally ‘crushing’ it against everyone else. Are there not enough people at or near the same levels to compete against each other? I never clicked or looked at the profiles of who I am playing against before. Guess I should have just remained in the dark and thought I was playing others near my level, although it probably explains why someone completed over 500 levels in a week a few months ago. Oh well!
