Many people have posted comments on here regarding algorithms, pre-determined game outcomes etc but, although late to the party, I now see exactly what they were saying.

I hadn’t noticed it up until now - probably because I’ve just been moved to a different ‘testing group’. It’s plainly obvious though, as each time I get close to completing a level, I’m left with just one order to fulfill - even after using heavy-duty boosters (Party/UFOs).
Happens too often to be a coincidence - I think Christine has mentioned this before.

There is very little strategy left in actual gameplay any more.
It’s all about choosing which side-games are worth pursuing (not many) and, tactically, when to use your boosters 🙂

The results of your game are pretty much out of your control and they are defined merely to tempt you to fork out.

As one other poster remarked, you might as well press a button once, let the game take over and wait until your lives run out.

Welcome to the wise club @Charleyfarley ! Look, I still enjoy playing the game even though I know the algorithms are fixed. It is by understanding the game this well and understanding how it is trying to trick us that we manage to still enjoy playing Candy Crush. It's what gives us back the control King are trying to take from us. Understanding is power. If we see through the tricks we can use this to our advantage.
