Hello again @BrianLowe and Happy New Year to you. I just noted your reply here after I saw your post to Carol over in Discussions.
One way to catch the attention of particular people in the community here is to use the reply function when answering posts, like I did just now. To do this press the green "Reply" underneath their message. This way if they have notifications active they will get an alert when they come here. You see that at the top right of this page where there is a bell symbol and you also get a little note pop up when someone answered your post. You can also tag people by typing the @ symbol and then their name until the pop-up shows them, then you click on them.
In general though the King Community isn't really a site to find friends to chat to. Not at the moment but King may be wanting the change this, so who knows what changes will happen here in 2025. We never know what they are up to, but at the moment this is a community overseen by King and they don't like it if we give one another tips about their games, so they like to keep control of what gets posted and read. This may be why your post above went for "approval" before it was published, which happens sometimes if we use specific words.
But no, we can't use direct messaging here, and in the past I have found that people who come here just to chat never get very far I am afraid. As soon as a post disappears from the front page no one reads it. I do think this is the nature of this forum. It's open to all and it is nothing like a social media site. I don't myself do social media at all, but I think there are Candy Crush sites at reddit and Facebook and those might be better for just chatting to others and finding friends with similar interests than here. There is no 'friends" option at this site and our "friends" in the game are not really our friends, they are just a selection of players from all over the world we can send lives to or ask for lives but we can never ever contact them directly. Those people will remain anonymous and we never find out who they are.

Because there is no way of finding specific people here. It's just people who come to the forums and with about a dozen of people reading posts here, the chances are something like 12 out of 200 million, it's like finding a needle in a haystack, or worse. I am afraid King don't want us to meet other players in our games. You are more likely to make new friends here in the community. And then you could invite those to your game, but it does now work the other way round.
I dont know..lol...she's in my "friend request" feed...you know, like possible friends...why do you ask?

I am unable to play this level, it says I need to collect yellow candies and even before I can play I get the no moves available, unable to complete message. How do I get past it? I have posted problem in support but have not gotten a response.
