If you are out of gold all you can do is wait until the game lets you pass. If it won't wait until next week. King may make the level easier on Monday. Legendary levels often take many attempts until the the game allows players to pass. Watch out for chances to make special candies (wrapped candies or colour bombs especially) and combos of special candies, those are indications that the game is helping you win so don't miss those opportunities when they do present. However it may take 20, 50 or more attempts at some levels until you get such a lucky board. It's all deliberately fixed so that we buy boosters and gold bars to get past these levels.
