Level 1

This has been asked before, but I was wondering if anyone had managed to resolve it. Level 8329 seems impossible to pass with 22 moves! I have tried for hours and I never get the final key released no matter what I do! I have the latest version of the game, apparently most people get more than 22 moves.

    Hello @em147

We all have the 22-move version now, apparently. I managed to win it, but it's tedious and very luck-based. The strategy is to anticipate when the key is about to drop and prepare combos or wrapped candies to explode on that move, so that the key can be destroyed as soon as it drops. This way you will have one or two moves to drop the dragons down. It's the best you can get. You have to clear the board by that time, and if you have a lucky board, the game will give you a color bomb or a combo to help release the dragons.

    1. Anticipate the key to drop 4 moves after the previous one. That is, when you have 19, 15, 11, 7, and 3 moves on the counter (the best case scenario). Prepare a wrapped candy or a combo to create explosions, so that the key can be collected as soon as it drops.
    2. Sometimes the key drops with a one-move delay. I wasn't able to figure out why. Maybe it's just determined by the algorithm. If the key doesn't drop when it should, make the next move in the bottom part of the board and try to explode something, if possible.
    3. Don't move the frog when the key is about to drop, messing up the cycle of key dropping is the worst thing you can do on this level. The best time to use the frog is immediately after the key has dropped. It's often hard to notice when it drops, so I watch the chests and their 'unlocking' animation.
    4. Do not place the frog in those columns where the dragons are. There's no guarantee that you'll be able to charge it again, and the dragon might get stuck on top of it. Place the frog in between those columns instead. The row just below the toffees, between the dragon columns, is where I prefer to place the frog, so that it can hit two curls that are blocking the dragons at once.
    5. I've won it twice, and both my lucky boards gave me an opportunity to create a color bomb right away. Watch out for that, it may be a sign that you'll have luck with that attempt.

It's very tedious to count the moves and try to figure out when the key should drop, I know, but unfortunately, I don't know any other way to win it without the extra moves.

    Good luck!
