Congratulations on reaching the end of the map! That is a fabulous gold balance you have made it to the end with. In my experience being at the end of the map is slightly easier than getting there, which may account for you finding the new releases easier. King nerf the levels after release to make it especially tough for players trying to catch up. It's worthwhile playing the new releases the week they come out. In fact in previous years we always used to find that mobile players were already at a disadvantage compared to Windows players, with moves removed in the interim between release dates. I have no idea if this is still the case.
I'll be interested what you make of the star tournament. I find the bar for winning it is set too high and the prizes are pointless, and sadly there are too many events it won't count for, such as the weekly race.
Oh, and thanks a lot for showing us what the top prize for the rewards lounge is. I had sort of hoped there might be some gold bars if you made it to the last tier, or some party poppers. Now we know it's not worth bothering with.

Congratulations on reaching the end of the map @Nobody1! This is inspiring. And, it's quite a stash of gold you have here! It seems that losing 5k gold on that stretch of horrible levels leading to the end of the map isn't too bad, and the ability to maintain a gold balance while at the end of the map is encouraging. We won't give our hard-earned gold back to King! 🤣 Good luck!

I'm closing in, but I'm not in any rush to get to the end. I'll be keeping an eye out for your new thread to see what happens when you get there.
Like you, I have used a lot of Gold Bars, but they are a necessity to win levels and the episode race. Luckily for me, the ads are definitely helping.
