I had 14 lives saved and when I logged in today to play, I had to agree to updated terms and it took all but 2 away and it also turned my daily treat machine back to start. Why did that happen?? ALSO all of my friends on my friend list are GONE!!!

Saved lives can vanish due to updates or maybe connection glitches. Use them regularly and keep the game updated.
My friend list came back but I once again had to sign in and accept the terms of agreement and 6 more of my lives sent to me by friends were gone. It's a shame, I haven't been able to access the candy box for rewards for many months now, I've done all they said to do to fix it and nothing has worked and now my lives are disappearing too. This game is getting more and more frustrating as time goes by.
Hi @Amy_Deemer I don't think any of us can give you a sensible answer to all of that. There are always different things that go wrong for many of us but we never get an answer as to why they are happening. My guess is and it's only a guess, that with the millions of players the King servers just can't cope. Or is it that you have received the new friends list which is now shown at the bottom of your map next to events called Friends. I received that this morning so is that where your friends are now?
I take it @ToshiroFuji that Amy is talking about lives sent by friends which can be up to a total of 200 that we can hold. From those 200 we can use up to a total of 20 within 24 hours. The 5 you are talking about are what King give and replenish when we use them 1 at a time every 30 minutes.
