There is no way to say what went wrong in that particular situation! It could be the connection on your side or an issue on King server itself!
If (when) it happens again, all you can do is close the pop-up window and close the App โ restart your device after shutting it down for few minutes and attempt to purchase again.
Was any money deducted from your account earlier?
