I wonder if they have shifted what staff they still had over onto the new game (Candy Crush Solitaire). Even QueenB is over there now running that one. The end of episode race issue will need a fix in a new update, I haven't seen any update since 30th January. I have noted exactly the same as you: My two latest new games did not get Candy Royale when they passed level 500. One is now past level 850 and still no sign of it. No Top That in any of my games. All on ipad or iphone. It's become really boring.

find the new screens are quicker to click through than the old ones if only because there isn't a specific spot to click now - just click anywhere on the page and it skips to the next animation.
Each to their own I guess @Nobody1 but logically I find that they can't be quicker. There used to be one level complete message and now there is two so that, to my mind, must make them take more time. Similarly the progress of the Chocolate Box & Season Pass show an update on your progress and then the features that you are playing are all displayed (one by one) at the end of the animation. This duplication logically must take longer than just one easily skippable animation.
Other than the 'Skip Now' message you have always been able to click anywhere on your screen (Android in my case) to skip the animation. This new animation doesn't seem to skip though and still completes when I touch the screen. Skipping used to mean that the animation wouldn't complete, so that is another reason I don't think these new ones are helpful or quicker.
