Friends Challenge Endgame

Not sure if this has been discussed before but does the friends Challenge work in the Star tournament? The challenges started up again for me during the last day so I didn't really get to test it, but it seemed like it doesn't work with the Star tournament. I'm about to enter the it again and will probably find out myself, but I thought I would ask to see if maybe I was wrong and avoid the disappointment. Thanks!

Hello @JDogg96 I can give you the answer to that question and unfortunately it is NO. I played the Star Tournament for an hour yesterday and passed lots of levels to try win the Valentine leaderboard competition. I got to first place doing that and at the same time kept getting messages that I "failed" in the Friends Challenge, with a total of zero! Very annoying!
If you get Don't Feed the Troll though, that one does work with the Star Tournament.

Thanks! I am starting to find that out on my own but was kind of hoping it was because I wasn't passing levels.
