why can’t you advance levels without purchasing gold bars, been on the same level for weeks

level 17719, wanted to know how you can win this level without purchasing gold bars, basically impossible. Guess I won’t advance, because I’m done wasting money on gold bar purchases.

Hello @hawleylisa King want you to start spending more and more real money on the game, that is how they make a profit. They are a business like other commerce. If players won't pay to advance they really don't care about those players. I am sorry you have come to this point in the game where it gets really tough. The last 2000 levels contain a lot of pay-to-advance levels because King think that players who got this far will pay more money to reach the end of the game. Please don't throw any more of your precious money at this game as I can assure you these levels won't get any easier and you will find yourself spending more and more if you do pay.
