Hello @johnathan502 Are you asking about All Stars?
If so then no there is no problem. Quite to the contrary. Experienced players start a day or two into the event. The earlier you join the more levels you will have to crush to win your group or qualify for the next stage. In the final knockouts this may be different but in the qualifier rounds you definitely can start well into the round.
