Can I play on the final knockout day?

Is it necessary to play every day during knockout rounds when you already so many purple stars and there's no need to collect many more? If I have enough to qualify to the next round already at the start can I then just come and play my heart out for a few hours on the 30th or 31st perhaps?

Because many of us have active olives so it's not so easy to plan in daily time with game!

Anyway here I am holding out for good news, the girl that I am of course!?

I have already played my heart out I collected enough purple hearts to qualify for All Stars by getting more than 2 times the next competitor under me on the list! I learned this was too much effort on my part lol, so I don't want to be as gungo ho or eager this time around!

I am 50 and have never done anything like this before and have only been playing Candy Crush for a yr, so I am just wanting to reduce any mistakes I may make from over playing by giving myself the right kind of break I do need as I am tired now and all that early bird qualifying play did catch up to me! :)

Thanks for answering my question, I am happy to know that I don't have to play every single day as long as my win streak and scores and purple stores are all in order by just being ahead enough to Know I qualify for the next rounds! That makes me feel a lot less stressed out and now I know I can just stay focused on having fun essentially!

The best strategy for All Stars is to only do enough to get one of the qualifier places in the earlier rounds, so you do not even have to win the 1st knockout round since the top five players go through. At the moment we are still in the early phase of the competition and if you find you are far enough ahead to be confident to get one of the qualifying places then it makes sense to stop crushing candy. Just log in now and again to check up on your opponents.

I am wondering why you talk about having enough to qualify "at the start" though. You do realise that each round every player again starts with a score of zero? It is possible to join the round late, such as on 30th like you suggest. Then you are likely to be grouped with players all starting around that same time. This is definitely a good strategy at this point, but note that as soon as players pass one level, old or new, they will enter one of the many leaderboards. So if you want to only play the last two days it might be best to not log into the game until then.

Your header uses the word "final knockout day" so I wonder if you are confused about the stages of the tournament, so just to clarify:

The next round starting today is an early qualifier round called 1st knockout. The top five of each group will qualify for the next round. After this there will be a 2nd knockout, where the top 3 players go through to play the "final knockouts" . There will be three of those, one after the other and only one winner from each group goes on to play the next round. This part of All Stars only begins on April 10th. Those rounds you would have to play your heart out to win as they will be very competitive indeed.

But for this round starting today you can of course it easy if you find you have already scored enough purple. Family comes first!
