ALL STARS I found a player cheating!

Level 2

I found a player cheating. He has been on the same level for the past hour but his purple candies keep moving up about 3,000 every minute or so!! How do I tell the people in charge??? I don’t even wanna play anymore.

The player's current level at the top of the Player Card only updates four times a day, so you can't tell if they have been on the same level or not.

If there's anything else you find suspicious about this player, please click on the Report Abuse link located at the bottom of this page. Once you have clicked on the link, complete the form that appears and choose the subtopic 'Report a Cheater'.

Ok maybe that’s what it is. I’ve just been reading about a lot of bots last year. I’ll keep an eye on it though. Because his levels won and streak didn’t move while his candies kept piling up.

The leaderboard scores are updated every few minutes, but other information is updated less frequently, resulting in much confusion. The only thing that is really suspicious would be if they suddenly make a huge jump up in score in just a few minutes. If this happens, then you'll probably need to report it. Wishing you luck in the tournament!

If it's 3000/minute, I presume that this player averaged 100/new level, and 100 * 30 = 3000, assuming that it takes one minute per level on average. Here are some tips.

    • Go to the leaderboards frequently to check on your teammates. If you see the "Playing Now" text below the player name, that's when they are enraged and want to catch up with you. Data is updated every five minutes.
    • While losing a level can make you lose your win streak and Super Color Bomb and remove you from the Candy Royale for that day, it does not result in an automatic elimination from the tournament. Try to stay focused and be yourself.
    • Each round lasts for 90 hours, except for the Qualifier, 2nd Chance, and Final Knockout 3 rounds, which last for 66, 24, and 24 hours, respectively.

Now even THAT doesn't mean the player cheated 🙂… Case in point: when I started playing at the beginning of the 2nd Knockouts, I was in 3rd place. Now THAT lit a bit of a fire under me since I have worked hard & diligently to get in 1st place on my LeaderBoard and STAY there (what can I say... Tired of always being 2nd & 3rd isn't acceptable to me), so my next round, I make sure to play VERY strategically with my purple candies. I was SHOCKED as I probably racked up more points in that one round since I started playing in this tournament MARCH 21/25! But best of all, it got me up to 1st place, where I am proud to say I ended at 🙂 NO cheating involved! It has taught me sometimes it is better to play SMARTER(slower & more strategically) than it is to play harder(fast & furious)!

"Final Knockout 3 rounds, which last for 66, 24, and 24 hours, respectively"

    I thought it was 66hrs for 1st round, 66hrs for 2nd round & 24hrs for 3rd round?

Speaking of which, Do you have to place FIRST on leaderboards in 1ST ROUND to make it to the 2nd round & than rinse & repeat for the 2nd & final rounds to qualify for playoffs?

Glad to hear you are doing well in the tournament @LadyChickadee! I generally like to play more strategically and at a slower pace as well, even though the fast and furious mode sometimes kicks in during tournaments 😆

Speaking of which, Do you have to place FIRST on leaderboards in 1ST ROUND to make it to the 2nd round & than rinse & repeat for the 2nd & final rounds to qualify for playoffs?

Yes, to win the tournament and advance to the live Finals, you must be the first in each of the upcoming three rounds.

    I thought it was 66hrs for 1st round, 66hrs for 2nd round & 24hrs for 3rd round?

The first and second rounds are both 90 hours long, and the third round is 24 hours long.

    From T&C:

5.6.17. Event Timings: Final Knockouts Round 1 is scheduled to take place between 09:00AM EDT 10 April - 03:00AM EDT 14 April 2025.

5.6.19. Event Timings: Final Knockouts Round 2 is scheduled to take place between 09:00AM EDT 17 April - 03:00AM EDT 21 April 2025.

5.6.21. Event Timings: The Final Knockouts Round 3 is scheduled to take place between 03:00AM EDT 26 April - 03:00AM EDT 27 April 2025.

    Good luck!

Did you ever figure out who to tell? I have the same thing going on right now in the first round of all star finals. Player at level 1221 who’s player name is “player”, moves up several thousand a minute but hasn’t moved from level 1221.

As MannyFae said: the player card isn't updated in real time and only a couple of times per day.
The player is probably rushing through levels but you can't tell, because the player card isn't up to date.
