Is it cheating to do this?

Good morning. I was going back and replaying some levels, not worried about crowns, was just trying to see how certain boosters/strategies work in the game. While doing so I noticed that my "progress" was counted in the chocolate box and cooldown quest. Honestly, thought that would only count for new levels played. It feels kind of "icky" to do this…do others use this strategy or is it kind of cheating?

No. Absolutely not cheating.
Some challenges only work with new levels, for other challenges already played levels count too.
