Am I Using the Fish Wrong? Because it seems like MY fish are stupid 😅

The fish in this game seem Stupid. They literally have fish for brains 😆 I'm a new player to King games and I am still a baby in the game Im playing but Im not new to this type of game and usually the piece made with 4 in a box (like a bees, paper airplanes, etc... whatever) when activated help the player! These stupid fish 🤣🤣 they go almost anywhere except what seems to be the most helpful!

You're not the only one having stupid fish, this is an common complaint lately from so many people. I wish King would leave the fish alone when they actually did something. Senseless change.

I recommend you read the following thread. @christinewupp has nicely documented most of the behavior of the new fish. If you understand these principles, you will do much better using the new fish effectively.

I would add that one thing to particularly note is that when you combine a fish with a striped or wrapped candy, the fish are particularly bad - in addition to only giving one striped or wrapped explosion, the fish targets a much worse location than it would if it were set off normally, so it generally doesn't follow her rules here when it picks a target to go to explode. It is almost always a waste of a move and a striped or wrapped candy to combine it with a fish.

The fish are terrible now! They used to be so reliable, but now they are almost things I avoid making! I came here to see what others were saying.

I didn't know the "old" fish but these fish HATE carrying candies. That is a FACT. I've processed to level 1k+ and I can say that while on some levels they will enjoy a piece of chocolate or two, not always BUT they will always break the gel/glass if there are no more moves left. They will hit the jelly ropes in the same spot until they break away if you let them loose for that purpose. Today vs when I wrote this I do believe it's all about how you use them and I am going to read that post you attached - thank you!

I didn't get to meet the previous fish! 😅 I'm thinking that they use to be more reliable. They are kind of wishy washy. I don't like that. I like knowing that if I strategically make a piece to use, that when I do use it, it works. I just need to learn this game still I suppose

Like I said I didn't know the previous fish but I have learned a little how these work since my post.. they really don't fit any play that should be expected at first but they do some jobs as long as you don't make them carry a striped candy 😅 that's way too much work for them.
