Does anyone know if 18785 is the current highest level ? Just wondering as I get the message ‘new levels coming soon’ at this stage.

There are about 20,800 levels now. Note that the original post was in April. It was correct at that time. 60 new levels are added the game every week, so the highest level keeps climbing higher and higher week by week!
There is, and the highest level so far is 20,000.
The highest level is now 19,925 @HansKlein . New levels are added every week and this is an older thread.

Well, congratulations on reaching the end of Candy Crush @Charleyfarley ! I'm sure you'll zoom through those newly released levels and reach the end of the map again soon. If you do finish them before next Wednesday, note that there will be a "star tournament" at the end, which is useful for some events (such as All Stars) but not for others (it will NOT count towards the weekly race). If you are interested here is a thread about it:
@GiuliaJoy Don’t think I’ve ever been in this situation before. It might be that most of the development has been temporarily redirected to the All stars tournament, causing a logjam on the routine levels progress. I’m starting to realise how much time I spend in CC 🙂

FYI the way level 9292 is currently set up, it is impossible to win without paying for gold bars or having some in reserve. Even the crappiest games have a leaderboard why can't CC have one? It would be a good idea to have a poll question regarding this and if majority want a leaderboard CC must give us a leader board. Everyone who agrees please voice your opinion.
While all of my friends get to watch ads to get exyra moves and boosters, but for me i am not getting anything, and i am stuck at a legendary level for a long time now.
