We have some exciting news!

Thanks to the helpful feedback we received from this amazing community, we’re making some exciting improvements to the 2x2 move!

These updates are being introduced gradually, and some of you may already see them in your game:

🐟 What’s new with the Fish?

🎯 Smarter Fish Moves: When you match a Fish with other special candies (like Striped or Wrapped), they now swim to more helpful spots and aim more precisely at blockers that matter most.

🎯 Targeting the Toughest Blockers: Fish are now better at finding and hitting the trickiest blockers on the board, making them a more powerful ally, especially in the toughest levels.

💥 Bigger Splash with Wrapped Candy: Match a Fish with a Wrapped Candy and enjoy a bigger 5x5 blast, clearing more candies and blockers than before.

🐠 Fewer but Mightier:There may be fewer Fish appearing now, but they’re smarter, stronger, and more helpful giving you a better shot at passing tough levels!

Some improvements are great, but others still need work.(Please, leave a comment...)

I have noticed that the fish are now more helpful: They do always clear the last jelly. The fish + stripe combo is effective and tends to clear a whole row of blockers. The fish + wrap clears blockers around the landing place and is worth using now. These combos usually go to the right place now.

However: I still hate the new fishes because they make the levels too easy. Yes I mean it: They bypass the original intended level design in such a way that players no longer need to use their brains for this game, making the game really boring and all the levels very streamlined and similar. It's what many new players like and enjoy, but it's not for me.

Not a fan – I preferred how it worked before.

The original fish were fine with me. Fiddling with fish, etc, is not improving the playing aspect.

The game has become boring to the point where I only play off and on now.

Designers should be concentrating on improving the play by making each level different, not just an exercise in blasting through walls of blockers. Great innovations, like the Samantha the frog are rarely seen now and when she appears she is usually irrelevant.
