Thank you for your kind reply. Unfortunately I don't hold much hope on this one. King's answer to the problem of players not getting used to using the frog will be to kill the frog. I don't want them to rewrite these last few interesting levels and remove the frog from them, so I would prefer it if you did not pass this feedback on to them @QueenB .
Still the stupidity exists. ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ Fiush can neverr attack asnother fish. So if a fish is on a jelly, in place where you can't make a move easily, you never could clear that jelly with asnother fish. Only striped or wrapped or colorbomb works.
The first launch didn't have this issue, the fish attacked other fiush in that version. But after about a week they changed the version to that nonsense.
I really love how there's an addition of fish to every game i play...it's really nice and helps a lot..thanks so much
I know they just improved the fish, and I agree they have gotten WAY better. Iโm on level 3542 and I cannot for the love of god pass it. I nearly had a color bomb combo lines up and my only move was to match a fish and striped candy. Guess what, this fish took it, popped a wrapper candy, and the striped hit my color bomb wrecking my entire set up. I have a video recording of this (not sure how to post it here) but itโs absolutely ridiculous. I spend way more time on this game than Iโd like to admit and Iโve been stuck on this level for way too long. The fish donโt recognize the brown blockers (I canโt remember what theyโre told) as a problem which makes them completely useless if not work against me in this level and others with the brown blocks. Please improve this feature because I genuinely am so frustrated.
also out of curiosity is anyone else having issues with the fish and brown tiles? (Not the chocolate, the ones that stack)
Yes, my fish avoid those too. It's really frustrating when they are what you need to clear the level.
The jelly fish do NOT attack toffee swirls (that's what they are called). So unless a toffee swirl is sitting between a dragon and its exit they will never eat those. They will eat anything that sits directly between a dragon and its exit, but in my experience that is the only time fish will eat toffee.
You were meant to fail the level and in such a case the fish go for the wrong candy. It's all in the way King have coded each board. It's either "pass easily, pass if you carefully play the correct last few moves, fail badly or fail unless you play the required booster". These four final outcomes are written into each game board and the fishes will do whatever they have been instructed to do. If you are on a "fail" board then they will go to a place that will stop you from passing, if you are on a "pass" board they may go for a place that will help you. It's part of the game design. We are just puppets playing the game as King have written it. The only control players have is to figure out the algorithm of the board and play it as intended. The fishes are King employees that carry out their instructions.
To illustrate, this is a "play one lollipop hammer to pass" level. Most of the outcomes for level 3542 are "play one UFO to pass", so this one is a bit cheaper.
As there are no jellies here the original design never accounted for fishes and as the dragon drops diagonally the fishes will not target the toffee beneath it. They only target toffee in a direct vertical line (and with no portals), so we have to play the original strategy to make wrap + stripe combos and colour bomb + stripe combos to pass this level. Playing the coconut wheel is also a good idea.
@jessybears Since you have now crossed level 3000, you have passed the range of those levels rewritten by King last year with the super colour bomb and jelly fish in mind, you will now come across some older levels which have not (yet) been changed by King. So for levels like this one it is a waste to create and set off jelly fish and I would recommend to try to avoid moves that make them. (Strangely though some of the hinted moves are to create fish.)
And the fish will not eat another fish even if it's under a dragon.
Found that out the hard way.
What the heck is a "coconut wheel"? ๐ค
BTW, what you called a toffee has always been a biscuit (cookie? โ "Keks" in German) to me. ๐
