Patience please, everyone! Yes, it's true from what I remember that in the last two years King sent out a million contact forms to a million players during final knockout round 1, and months later there were some poor souls posting here thinking they had been invited to the live finals just because they'd filled in this contact form during final knockout round 1! It is so much better and much less confusing if King start sending out the forms later on. I assume it will probably happen during final knockout round 2, or maybe just when this is finished. It makes so much more sense.
@morganleeoregon This is true. They do pick more than 10. Between the vetting and passport issues they do have back ups. Boy binary and I cound not attend in 23 so there's at least 2 backup for sure. I assume they would have a minimum of 10.
I can assure you they will select more than just 10 players. You must assume 2-3 can't attend because of passport issues. They will probably ask like 20-30 people to attend and see which will be available.
I've done massive corporate event planing for decades, like attendance in the 100K. I always need many many back up for key people. People ghost of a million reasons
Your answer of 140 players does not appear to be correct. There will still be 10 * 100 = 1,000 players in Round 6 (All-Stars Marathon). That's because there will be ten finalists at the end of the marathon, one finalist from each of the ten groups of 100 players each.
By my estimate and several other experts on this forum, there is around 50-55K players left in the tournament. No way they ask for all those people info.
They will likely ask for registration in the 6th round. Should be around 140 players at that point. That is much more manageable.
