17869 is messing with me

I have been on level 17869 for a week. I am never even close to completing it. I have no boosters and with the get-boosters-by-watching-ads-option is gone, I have no way of getting any. Since I paid 99 cents once for extra lives, the levels all seem to be legendary or nightmare skill level so it seems they’re luring me into buying more lives and refuse. Anyone else have this issue?

I am definitely going to delete this game. I knew it was a bad idea to spend on this game but for them to make this level absolutely impossible to pass is just wrong. Thank you for the response

Hello @kawibunga Yes indeed I have seen countless posts very much like yours. This is what we have found here in the community:

Any player who spends any amount of real money on the game will lose their ads soon afterwards. The ads do not return as King now expect you to keep spending real money to progress.

The last 1500-2000 levels of the game are always made extra hard to pass by King. This is probably so that any players who are determined to catch up to reach the end of the game will spend up all their saved gold and boosters and then start to spend real money. Many of us get to the upper levels without spending anything as in the earlier ranges we make more gold than we spend. By the time players get to within 2000 levels of the end King wants such players either out or to start spend some money, lots of money.

So the game won't get any easier for you now. You might want to consider putting this account on ice and starting over from level 1 in a new account. I have known players to get through the entire range of Candy Crush in one year doing that, and if you save up your gold and spend your boosters wisely you can make a lot of gold bars to fall back on when you reach the last 2000 levels. A lot of others just decide to quit and find a new game that is more fun when they get to the point where the game holds them up and it stops being fun. If you start paying, be prepared to spend a lot.
